Analyze business problems requiring a technical solution or automation and based on this, propose and design computer application software to solve said identified business problem. Develop low-level design specifications. Excellent analytical skills and be able to reengineer existing code as well as write new code based on requirements and standards. Bilingual (capable of having a working conversation with people in the USA) Disciplined, service and results oriented, creative, able to work or lead on multiple assignments/projects, with a culture of team-work. Ensure quality of developed software by exhaustively testing the written programs as a unit test followed by a systems test. Write test plans to serve as a check list for all possible data scenarios that this software might encounter in a production environment. Develop complex information system programs and / or applications. Implement new/revised software into a production run time environment: Produce necessary documentation, identify and communicate scheduling and recovery requirements, monitor initial runs to ensure success. Demonstrate software tools & utilities to development teams and business users. Recommend and evaluate Computer Based Information Systems Solutions based on articles read in trade journals, interacting with other development teams and business users, demonstrating software tool & utilities. Three to five years of experience as Programmer Analyst Java and SQL are a must. Spring, ATG, c/c++, Unix/Linux exposure, and Hibernate desired. |
